Thumbs up M-Sports steering wheel review

This is not a new upgrade to the E46 world, but it is new to me, and I thought I would throw in my 2 cents.

It's basically awesome. Anyone with a sport package steering wheel should swap theirs out yesterday. The M-wheel makes the driving experience so much better.

The thicker grip and soft leather makes it much easier to hold on to during hard cornering, compared to the hard as rocks leather on the sport steering wheel.

I didn't measure the diameter, but I am pretty sure the M is smaller. The old 4-spoke steering wheel on my non-sport e46 actually had a smaller diameter and thicker grip that the 3 spoke sport package wheel.

Got mine at Circle for $340 on sale.

Show a picture of the wheel please. I have 330 CIC with sports package and have no problems with a "thin" wheel, yet.

Ignore the shift paddles. I originally had this wheel on my '01 330Ci.

The outside diameter is the same, but the rim is thicker.

Looks like the wheel I just got on my 330CiC ZHP. I thought I'd prefer the alcantara, but when I got this I was very pleasantly surprised. Great feel.
