E63 / E64 6 Series (2003 - 2013)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Hey, the forum title says 6-series...

Just purchased off ebay.

1985 635 CSI with manual transmission, red leather.
It's great!

Thanks!

Moving to (north) Scottsdale, AZ. It's part of the Phoenix suburban sprawl.

Alas, the e24 is going to stay on the East Coast as a vacation car.

Yep, I went to U of AZ in Tucson, but we had some friends up north there, so I've visited Scottsdale more than a few times. We used to call it Snobsdale or Snotsdale because of the general attitude of the inhabitants. Beautiful place, just a bit TOO much money... or maybe just too many people who let the money go to their heads?

My wife is a U of AZ grad (med school). We really liked Tucson, but Phoenix is where the jobs are. The "snob factor" of Scottsdale has me a little worried, but I think that living in small town New Hampshire has taught me some good lessons on being happy with what I've got.

Cool. I left Tucson after I graduated (oh, the nomadic life of a Naval Officer...). I preferred the greater Phoenix area (Scottsdale, Paradise Valley), but only spent limited time there, so... don't know how I'd have held up in the long run. Great golf, though...

Yep, my sister and brother-in-law decided the same thing.

Ahh, that 'Snobsdale' deal is overblown...we just don't want more people to move in and cause more desert to be scraped away...

Actually most people are quite friendly here...
