2004 745i- can single CD player be accessed? - Bimmerfest

Is it possible to gain access to the audio outputs from the back of the single CD player and hook into them with a patch cord that would go to a MP3 player? I have the CD changer, never use the single CD player and desperately want to be able to play my MP3 player through the car's stereo.

no, its fiber. not RCA

How difficult would it be to gain access to the toslink terminals then?

Raerae, I like the wheels- easy to clean- but I miss my M-Pars from my 740i Sport. I think they were sportier looking.

i dont think its as simple as getting fiber<->RCA adaptor. the whole system has to work with idrive and you can't break fiber loop and ...
