Does anyone else think they're playing on "The stig" with the guy in the white helmet?

45k for this car...only 35 more HP than a 135i. Really ridiculous. BMW, as is becoming common, totally swung and missed on this one.

Really, 35 HP and some fender flairs? For 9k?! This almost makes the audacious stupidity of the 335is package seem reasonable.

Completely wrong. They've hit it out of the park. I've yet to see any review by anyone that is short of completely glowing. And the published HP/TQ numbers are not grounded in reality... InsideLine has found the numbers published to be approximately what the car delivers at the WHEELS.

So it's more like +50-75HP, and way more than fender flairs [sic]. It's a quicker steering rack, lighter flywheel, upgraded pistons/rings, upgraded clutch, upgraded transmission, and basically the the rest of the M3 drivetrain. LSD, brakes, control arms, wheels... all from the M3.

This car is a monster, and the closest thing to what enthusiasts have been clamoring for from BMW since the E46 M3, or possibly the Z4 M Coupe.

That's why I ordered one.

Don't forget hydraulic vs. electric power steering and price difference is $7K (39 vs. 46 US)
