Overall looks much better than the 5-series F10 IMO. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the elongated engine compartment (unnecessary length) but I really like the cleaner hood lines: the bow-wave on the F10 looks a bit too contrived and ornamental to me.
I hope in e finishing touches and trim they keep leaning into aggressive lines on the model. Otherwise I fear it will be too staid and too close to a boring straight interpolation between the 6 and the 5 series. BMW has the opportunity to make this a really distinctive car. Say what you like about the MB CLS but they did a great job of making that model stand out in design and personality from the CL, CLK, and E series.

I'm sure BMW is going to do a great job of fitting it with overboosted electronic steering that gives as much feedback as a minivan. Should be a blast to drive.
