At the 50th Anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona BMW was showing off a very unique F30 328i. This TwinPowered inline 4 cylinder powered 3 series sports the optional style 404 cross spoke 20" wheels shod in 225/35/R20 front and 255/30/R20 tires looking more like rubber bands wrapped around the rims then actual tires. It is also interesting to note that this car did not have a sun roof yet has xenons and therefore must have the premium package. On the 328i the premium package includes the sun room so perhaps there is a sun roof delete option after all! To wrap up the strange combination of things on this car it was also debadged.

Notice anything else strange about this F30 3 series?

Modern line 328i with what looks like sport seats and xenons but no sunroof...

I am guessing this is an EU model optioned a la carte.

The wheels looked good in person albeit quite large. It was just really cool to see some other options for the car that may be available -- I had noticed the 20s in the RealOEM guide but was very surprised to see them on a car in person at the Rolex 24.

I think 20" is too much for a 3, especially a 328i, it has the smaller disk brakes.

typical BMW, went very conservative with the body style changes and that was the safe thing to do. But those 20 inch rims look like a gangsta getaway car cruising through the projects. Not liking it.

I agree. The wheels look ridiculous.

BMW is clearly trying to appeal to the Chinese market.

FYI- Rubber Bands refer to 25 series tires. 30 series is just another tire.

i think the 20" wheels look sweet...
