Bimmerfest.com Long Term Review 2012 BMW 328i Arrives in New Jersey!
We are excited to say that we just received word from Mike Wendroff at Morristown BMW that the Bimmerfest.com long term review 328i F30 has been delivered to the dealership. Now we are forced to wait until the car can be prepped for delivery early next week.
A special thanks to Jon Shafer at BMW of Santa Barbara for working with us to get this car as early as possible and another big thanks to Mike Wendroff from Morristown BMW for setting up Courtesy Delivery of the car in New Jersey.
We are anxious to get behind the wheel and start racking up the miles to review every aspect of the car. Look for a ton of updates over the next couple weeks detailing the driving elements along with a deep look into the technology that is inside the car.

I'd like to know if the Comfort setting on the Adaptive Suspension is more or less firm than the fixed sport suspension that comes standard on the Sport Line cars. Some theories were made in another thread but there was no definitive answer.

Just added some more pictures that Mike was kind enough to send us
We will work on getting a car w/o the M Adaptive suspension in the sport line to compare the two!

F.Y.I. , for those interested, Open Road BMW in Edison NJ. just got 2 328s on Thursday.
Glacier Silver 328 Modern in the showroom.....boy, that 'textured' Wood Trim sure is tacky looking.

it looks good from certain angles, like the 2nd and 5th pic. but at other angles, to me, it looks kind of strange... check out pic 6 and the last pic.. very weird

Pretty much how I'd take one, except mine would be white.
I'm interested in the exhaust note.

So how does this work? Is Bimmerfest.com actually buying this car? Leasing it? Or does BMW offer loaner cars for a period of time to certain reviewers?

Oh and by the way the pictures are HORRIBLE. At least get a decent cellphone cam. It looks like these were taken with a 1990s webcam with peanut butter smeared on the lens. Not to mention they all have a blue-shifted white balance (Blue tint)

Really looking forward to comments on the shift action, especially as it relates to in-town driving.

So the front license plate mount is now integrated to the bumper (from pics). Does it mean those in the states/provinces where front plates aren't mandatory will have to live with that empty mount or is there a different (smooth) bumper design for them?
Edit: Never mind, saw the other thread on this topic.

love the red stitching on the seats, really wish i had at least explored the individual option of having this done on my e92 m3. i really like all the red accents on the car. a nice added accent would be some red brembo brakes

Morristown BMW is less than 5 miles from my house, hoping I'll get to see this car out on the road if the Bimmerfest guys do the test in this area, give that 328 a run for its money
