BMW Space Saver emergency spare tire

Why Get a Space Saver Spare Tire?
There isn't one in your new BMW
BMW has stopped providing them since (approx.) 2006 and many drivers are left by the roadside for hours waiting for help because of a severe tire cut/puncture.

Ride Quality
You can use traditional tires and eliminate the harsh ride of the run flats.

Cost
The cost of 4 traditional tires + the Spare Tire is generally cheaper then 4 run flat tires.

Convenience/Safety
Roadside assistance might take a while to arrive. With the Space Saver Spare Tire, you are usually up and running in about 30 mins (Please make sure you are at a safe location to change tires)

Which models are the space saver spare available for?
  • E46 3 Series
  • E82/E88 1 Series
  • F10 5 Series

Is the car able to drive properly with such a thin tyre, especially e70 X5?

If driven according to manufacturers recommendations, there is no issues. The E70 X5 spare is designed by BMW and Continental.

Can you show a photo of it in the boot(trunk)of a e90 3 series?
Will it hide away under the floor in the boot? or will it take up space?

Hi
it will have to be above the trunk carpet, there is no room under it.
Here is a photo of the one in a convertible

Hi
While we have not tested one on the X1 (the rolling diameter for the X1 is 25.9 Inches)

The closes tire that we have is 26.0 inches (which is pretty much equal in my opinion)

I own an X1 s20D and was on run flats before i changed over to normal tubeless radials last week, is there a space saver tire available for X1 s20d with 17" wheels, if available what would be the price including to ship one to Delhi, India.

We are still researching on the X1, while we think we do have one for it, we do need a test car at our facility first. I will keep you guys updated if we do have one for the X1 soon.

I would like to get the BMW X1 xDRIVE28i but they do not have a spare.

Will the E90 M3 Space Saver Spare Tire fit on this model - "BMW X1 xDRIVE28i"?

Hi
With our research, we are 99% sure that it will fit the X1 with 18 in rims (non M Sports) as the outer rolling diameter is the same, and the rim will clear the caliper

Would you like to contact us via email or phone?
We are happy to offer you free shipping and also FREE return shipping if it does not fit.

Do let me know

Thanks!
