Love to see a mineral white and an alpine white next to each other to compare.

Tim,
Can you sticky these official photo threads? I was looking for the MG and had to rummage through the posts to find it. As folks get their cars, it would be helpful if it was right there on the top to access and upload their pics.

Just picked up my 2013 335i Mineral White with Dakota Everest Grey interior this morning! Going to snap some photos tomorrow and add to the thread.

Congrats on your new ride.

Please post some pics, and also of the interior gray leather.
Does it have black stitching? Or just a black seam on the inside of the back rest?
Pics would be appreciated..thanks.

My F30 Sport is also Mineral White though with black interior. If the car looks decent enough after today's warranty work, I'll try to pull it up next to an Alpine White F30 and snap some shots. I was hoping to post photos with my GF done up like a car model but I don't know if I can get her to the dealership with me today.

F30-s look great in this color yet I've seen no others on the lots or roads.

I have yet to see a MW pictured on a website where you can glean any difference from AW.

I'm gonna give it a try on Monday when my assistant can join me. It's difficult to find lighting that captures the difference in photos however I've got some fast lenses that will at least enable me to avoid sunlight without needing a flash.

Here's a link to a few of my interior photos. I am off to go get some decent ones now though. The stream should update with new stuff later today.

How easy will it be for a certified BMW dealer body shop to match mineral white for a two month old f30?

Lots of companies have similar colors to "mineral white". They all use different names, but all our some form of metalicized white or off white.

If they're qualified, they should be able to match it perfectly.

Don't know why you need body work, but if someone hit you, I've noticed that dealerships are now using paint gages that tell them the thickness of the paint. As such, they can tell if body/paint work has been done to your car if you trade it. The last couple of times I've traded my cars (Acura TL and BMW 330i), the dealerships brought it up, given both had very minor paint work done to them.

Did they "ding" me on my trades? They tried. But, if the paint/body work were more substantial I'd bet they would have come in with a low ball offer.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.

Yes, I was hit. Good to know the paint match can be real good. Probably helps that the car is not too old too. I have the car at a BMW dealer's body shop in the Chicago area, so no worries about authentic BMW paint, parts, etc.

Also, I am leasing the car from BMW, so no trade-in value worries either.

I think you'll be fine. Now, if it was a shop that was not used to working on European iron, I might be concerned. But, you've got it at a dealer. Most of those guys that do body work for high end dealers are qualified to have their own shops from what I've observed.

Which dealer in Chicago? Don't know if I'll pull the trigger on one, but my E92 is coming up on 3 years old. Thinking of getting an F30. BMW is supposed to be dumping a bunch of cars that were meant for Europe here in the U.S. Looking for a deal. I actually have been talking to Westmont (Laurel?) BMW. Any thoughts about them?

The dealer is Knauz in Lake Bluff. I actually bought the car from Bill Jacobs in Naperville, as my brother is in the car business and had a contact there.

I know nothing about Laurel. Only heard of them. This is my first BMW, so I'm a newbie

Had the opportunity to see these side-by-side yesterday. Mineral on right alpine on left. Mineral white has more depth due to the metallic paint and has a slight grayish hue compared to alpine.

Anybody know the paint code for Mineral White? I want to paint some mud flaps.
