The BMW 328d - A Diesel Powered 3 Series Arrives at Last
One of the most vocal groups of enthusiasts has to be that loud bunch that has been clamoring for the addition of diesel options in the United States over the past few years. I'm guessing BMW is hoping that same enthusiastic bunch is already lining up to back up orders for this new model. The BMW 328d will be powered by a TwinPower Turbo 4 cylinder engine, delivering 180 hp and an impressive 280 lb-ft of torque propelling the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in about 7.2 seconds while getting mileage that could well exceed 40 mpg.

The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Edition
The 3 Series Gran Turismo follows in the steps of the 5 Series GT model that was introduced by BMW in 2010. This new 3 Series variant features a longer wheelbase, more rear seat room, a power tailgate, expanded luggage capacity and a standard panoramic moonroof. The 3 Series Gran Turismo begins production in July with deliveries taking place in the United States late this summer in both a 328i xDrive GT and 335i xDrive GT version.

BMW Concept Active Tourer
BMW continues their push in innovation with the United States debut of the Concept Active Tourer - a new plug-in hybrid concept in the premium compact segment. This concept car features a 3-cylinder gasoline engine coupled with an electric motor which allows for nearly 95 mpg. The Concept Active Tourer will also feature a "Cool Shade" composite glass roof which uses "Suspended Particle Device" technology allowing the driver to make the roof crystal clear or darken with the touch of a button.
