Jet Black 435i M Sport spotted in Germany with NO camo

BMW 435i M sport

BMW has officially revealed the 4 Series coupe but we have yet to see it in public, until now. Bimmertoday.de reader Tom spied this M Sport 435i in Jet Black completely exposed near Munich. The official press photos of the 4 Series coupe did not do it justice, in person and on the road the 4 Series is a much more attractive car.

BMW 4 series coupe

The official 4 Series photos from BMW are over processed, from funny angles or aren't in the best colors. Seeing this 435i on the city streets reinforces what I thought the first time I saw the 4 series concept coupe at Detroit, that the 4 series is going to be a hot looking car.

Seeing the 4 Series coupe in the real world do you like it more or less then the official BMW photos?

I agree that sadly these photos look much more attractive than the professional ones.

These photos look horrible, too close and angle too wide.

Damn, car looks nice. Front end looks insanely aggressive. Makes me regret ordering my 3 lol. Great find.

What a douchey looking car. So sad the direction BMW is heading....

The pictures could be better, but still a really nice car!

Also one other thibg I didnt notice at first was, it seems as if these tail lights resemble the 5 series w/ 3 stripe pattern vs the 2 stripe of the 3 series

jesus look at the back of that thing, bangle butt 2.0? reminds me of the 2006 E90 rear. OMG!

you almost get the impression that they made this look cheap on purpose, to allow "room for growth" with the LCI...

I personally think the back is one of the better looking angles on the car. I can't wait to see one in person because as some have said before; the BMW released pics are over processed and the pics above aren't of the greatest quality. It looks like the one shown here is an M-Sport, but I would like to see some more pics of an M-Sport taken out on the road.

I think it might be the angle of the picture. You can take a similar picture of the current 5 series from the rear and it will look the same. However, if you see the 5 in person or from different pictures, the rear looks very nice. I think most people should reserve judgement on the car until they actually see it. I remember when I first saw the pictures for the 6 and thought wtf? When I saw it in person it was beautiful.

I agree the rear of this car looks terrible. It completely lost that nice high end bmw special sweetness. Now it's just plain and so uninteresting - it blends with many other, cheaper brands.

I like my rear end better...335i that is.

I hope that's not the for production model. They should redo the rear to make it less fatter and sharper or more aggressive like the front.

I agree, I've seen some great pics of the car. From some angles the car just looks odd. It almost looks like these were taken with a fisheye lens. The hood and rear corner look huge in these pice.

I don't agree. I don't see the least bit of similarity between this car and a minivan or SUV.

Yikes the current E90 coupé looks miles better, why does this not have LED rear turn signals it looks cheap.

agreed somewhat, although it is very strange to find myself saying this about the new 4 coupe - i was almost certain BMW would come through on this one. maybe it will grow on us

it's kind of apparent, with the F30 and now that we see the F32, that significant changes have taken place with regard to who is in charge and who green lights design ideas.

I like it, but it doesn't compel me to hurry in to trade my 335is for a 435i.

I guess a full house of blind will agree with you.

P.S. BTW, I was at BMW NA HQ two weeks ago, and saw the car in person with no camo - looks great IMHO minus the hood line.

I hate to say it but I think the nicest looking 3 series front endis on the 3gt. I can't stand the rest of the car but I think they did a nice job on the front -and the hood doesn't have that weird porpoise head effect. Hope a similar treatment gets applied to the LCI sedan and maybe the coupe in a few years

I noticed that with the Gt as well, they addressed the hood issue. Somehow, that didn't seem to follow over onto the coupe? The hood on the coupe doesn't seem as bad as with the F30, but doesn't seem to be the same as the GT. Maybe someone can post a comparison.

In person the car looks great! Like so many other BMWs it doesn't photograph well from certain angles but with your own eyes it looks right.

Agree. Also, the absense (tape over) of the roundel contributes to unfinished look in the above pictures.
