If you are like me, you want to see how all the different lines match up on the 2 Series. Your options here in the United States will include a base 228i, 228i with Sport Line, 228i with M Sport and an M235i.

What will you be ordering?

Right now I'm interested in the 228, manual tranny with the M Sport package. Hopefully they keep the M package reasonably priced.... $1500. - $2000. or so....

any idea how much the M235i will be priced? So no M2? This is as good as it gets? Or is it essentially the same as the "M2". Can't even configure this in the USA sites yet, unless I'm not doing something right. Oh well, still have the E9x to dream about To answer the question, I would order the M235i, without a doubt!

The M235i and M-sport look very much the same minus fogs. Yet, to see if they fixed the horrendous EPS steering setup found in the other BMW's.

$44k, and that includes M brakes, forget what else. i imagine if you go to BMWUSA and configure a 135is as you like, it'll be about the same price.

I think I am going to go with 228i M-Sport. Now I have to pick the color....

If I hadn't just picked up my current car then I would likely be stepping in to an M235i pretty soon. I guess I will wait a year or two and see what comes up.

The 235M will be a nice car if they don't just use it as a halo car to sell more of the 228. Early word is only 500 unit for the USA in year 1. If that keeps up good luck finding one for msrp. N4S

Source, please?
I have not seen a reference to anything like that...
Thanks,
- Ray
That seems very odd...

228i Msport is going to be an awesome bang for the buck. I cannot wait for the ordering guides to arrive.

Very interesting.
[ thanks for posting Greg's posted info ]
I will not be buying in the first year of production -
so possibly that will work in my favor.

Seeing this as a 'spiritual successor' to
the 335iS I leased ....
