6th Annual SoCal Vintage Meet a Huge Success!
Chris Padagas' amazing 2002
This past Saturday Classic and Vintage BMW owners from all across the West converged in Van Nuys, CA for what figures to be just about the largest such gathering anywhere in the world. Attendance estimates place the total number of cars at 400+, many of which were concours quality..
Event organizers John Barlow and Jeff D'Avenzo did a fabulous job preparing for the big show as was evidenced by how smoothly the day unfolded.
The real story of the day were the remarkable BMW machines themselves. Cars from every E-code were well represented -- everything ranging from E9s to 2002's to the newly-included E30s we parked is designated areas making it easy to take in all of the sights and sounds the show had to offer. There was even a Z1 on hand -- a BMW model this author had never seen in person before..
