We are on location at the Rolex 24. Check out some pre-race action from the track and paddock. Plenty of fine machines on hand to drool over.

My first event ever this weekend. We had a blast.

We were amazed at the number of Ferraris around, just parked here and there in the parking lot just like they were regular cars, owners nowhere to be found. Porsches were everywhere in abundance like SUVs at a grocery store. Probably 100 Porsches parked in the PCA corral of course.

I was a little disappointed that the Porsche and Corvette clubs had their own parking corrals in the infield, but the BMW CCA didn't have anything. I went to the BMW tent and looked at the cars there, but none of the cars were open for viewing and nobody was giving out any BMW swag. What's up with that?

One BMW did make it to the podium, which was nice.

I brought home a Porsche flag, some SRT stuff, some Ford and Chevy swag, and of course Continental Tire stuff. But the BMW booth was kinda lame unfortunately.

^Agreed.
And to top it off, the M4 was parked over inside the fan club zone and not next to the other BMW's by their booth, and no M3 in sight.
I'm not sure it was sorted out well. Yea those Porsche club members were chillin hard, and the Ferrari guys were drinking it up. Z4 GTE's had to at least beat the Ferraris to offset not having club members in attendance.

It was a great race, an awesome weekend, and speedy recovery to Memo after that horrific crash.
