1981 BMW M1 with very low milage up for grabs!

Empty your bank accounts, take out a loan, sell the house, because it's going to take at least that to pick up this incredible, low mileage M1.

Hand-built from 1978-1981 with a mere 453 being produced by BMW as homologation models for auto racing. The M1 was the only mid-engined BMW to be mass produced. Powered by a 273 horsepower 3.5 liter double overhead cam inline-6(M88/1), mated to a ZF 5 speed gear box, the M1 was capable of 163 mph. This particular M1 is #348 in Inca Orange, with a standard black leather and cloth interior, and the grabber is that it's a 1981 that has covered only 7980 miles! Going by the pictures from Dupont Registry, it looks completely original and in incredible condition.

At $499,900 I'm sure it's a steal, I just need to start searching under all my couch cushions for spare change. Who's going to pick this one up?

One of my favorite and coolest ugly cars ever built. Wonder if my wife would notice the missing savings...

Beautiful (kind of ugly) car. But, if I had half a million to spend on a car...
