The all-new BMW 5 Series Touring. Official Launchfilm.

Mercedes-Benz is giving us a larger touring model here in the US, wish BMW would let the 5 Series Touring loose over here.

This is the fifth generation of the 5 Series Touring. It stands for driving pleasure, aesthetic appeal, innovation and intelligent functionality. The all-new BMW 5 Series has a significantly expanded selection of driver assistance systems to further reduce the gap to automated driving. It has extensive vehicle-smartphone connectivity. The weight of each model has been reduced on average by up to 100 kilograms over its equivalent in the outgoing range.

Stupid promo, what about the sail for instance?
Still tempted, but for the moment just awaiting the G31 535 or 540 Diesel, probably in lci disguise.
The F11 is still performing strong.
Putting it on billsteins made it such a nice car.

bout Surfing Netherlands + Belgium
Surfed regularly since the 1960s, these coasts offer some decent sized swell in the winter but are often flat for the rest of the year. Facing north east they can sometimes be blessed with a rare groundswell, but in the main it is locally produced storm swell that then sometimes be cleaned up by winter offshore winds as lows move north. Water quality is not great due to the level of industrialisation. There are designated surf zones in the summer in both countries but in the winter Holland is unrestricted. Yup Kitesurfing in the Netherlands is stupid...

The G30 Sport Wagon is coming to the US. The 5 GT will become the 6 GT.

What a stupid video - BMW NA are brain dead. Nice shots of surfers below golden gate bridge in US, but in their wisdom BMW NA will not sell the touring here, so why use US backgrounds in the promotional video? I'm still hanging on to my 2008 E61, but the new Mercedes wagon is under serious consideration if the G31 was available I'd almost certainly go with that instead, but its not an option.
