BMW temporarily stops offer F30 M Performance spoiler

F30 M Performance Parts spoiler unavailable

Due to quality concerns BMW is temporarily removing both Painted and Black Rear Spoilers (Z50 and Z51, respectively) from all 3 series models that are in transit and currently at the port (all priority statuses). Additionally, these options are currently unavailable to add to new orders. The Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler (Z09) is still available to be added on your new F30.

BMW M Performance Parts for the F30 3 Series

There is no indication how long this temporary quality issue will affect orders. Is this affecting anyone?

Wow, removing when it's already installed and in the process of being shipped.

I would assume it's for all "not installed yet" F30s that would be affected.

Wonder if it's an issue with the adhesive?

Curious about this. We had a spoiler installed in September. Usually its just 3M adhesive, which is pretty reliable and strong from what I hear.

Will you guys be OK at highway speeds or will you need to park them until the inch high spoilers are attached?

I had the carbon fiber spoiler installed at a dealer, and betalink was used.
