One of the most anticipated cars coming later this year is certainly the M235i which will be a smaller BMW 2 Series M Performance automobile. As you can see in the photos, this test M235i has the signature wheels, M sport brakes and twin exhaust pipes which are all present in M Performance vehicles.

The 2 Series will be going into production later this year starting in November at the Leipzig plant. The United States will see two variants - the 228i featuring the N20 TwinPower turbo motor and the M235i will most likely have the same N55 powered motor as the M135i that has gotten rave reviews in Europe.

Just a week or so ago we caught some spy photos of the upcoming 2 Series convertible in the snow and now we have a video of the cars out doing their testing.

The 2 Series starts production in November 2013 in preparation for a shortened production year. These 2014 models will arrive stateside in a 228i version and an M Performance M235i.

BMW is hard at work testing out the upcoming 2 Series line up and the convertible version is the latest one to get caught on camera. This variant of the car won't make the initial 2 Series line up that is slated to roll into production in November 2013 as a 2014 model year car but instead will arrive later in the 2015 model year line up.

Our spies have been on the look out for the latest offerings from BMW and this time we get a good look at the new 2 Series Coupe including what can only be the M235i that should hit US shores!

After months of rumors, speculation and waiting we've spied the new 2 series.
