With the countdown running for the 2014 World Car Awards (WCAs) ceremony to be hosted by the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) BMW has taken a spot in every category. The F32 BMW 4 Series for the World Car of the Year, F15 BMW X5 for the World Luxury Car, BMW M6 Gran Coupe for World Performance Car, BMW i3 for WOrld Green Car and again the BMW i3 for the World Car Design.

BMW is known for their mid-cycle changes and that time has come for the F25 X3. The biggest changes are probably with the addition of an sDrive (rear wheel drive) model and the new xDrive20d model variant. Both new additions give BMW buyers more choices when picking out their next Sport Activity Vehicle.

BMW pull the cover back on the all new BMW M3 and M4 as well as the 2 series coupe and M235i at the Detroit Auto Show. In addition to the hot new M cars BMW's new eletric division is being displayed with the BMW i3 and i8. BMW's new X5 as well as all other models are represented as well. The Detroit auto show runs January 18th - 25th, make sure you stop by the BMW booth to see the new models.

Featuring a return to the inline-6 engine format made famous by BMW M, the all-new, 3.0-liter BMW M3 and M4 engine is approximately 10 kilograms lighter than its V-8 predecessor and packs an even stronger punch. With 425 horsepower from 5,500 – 7,300 rpm, 406 lb-ft of torque from 1,850 – 5,500 rpm, and capable of 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds.

BMW announces the all-new BMW F80 M3 Sedan and BMW F82 M4 Coupe. Based off the latest 3 Series Sedan and fresh 4 Series Coupe BMW returns to its roots with an inline 6 cylinder engine but adds twin turbos for 425 hp and 406 ft-lbs of torque. On the chassis side everything is lighter then the outgoing M3 making this one mean machine.

A BMW i3 was fully charged in under 30-minutes today at the first-ever public charging station in the US to offer the SAE Combo-Charging fast charging system. The public charging station is located at the Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego, CA. The optional fast charging system will enable the BMW i3 driver to charge their EV from a standard 110 volt outlet with a cord set.
