BMW Premieres the M2 and X4 M40i at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show

The Detroit Auto Show kicked off today and BMW brought out some great cars including two world premieres. The most exciting of the bunch is the all-new BMW M2 featuring a 365 horsepower engine and hitting 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

Another world premiere came with the introduction of the X4 M40i - the second M Performance vehicle going on sale in the United States. This version of the X4 hurdles you from 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds and features a 355 horsepower / 343 lb-ft torque engine.

The BMW X4 M40i adds a 355hp, M-Powered monster to the already successful X4 lineup. Tuned by BMW M the X4 M40i rockets from 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds.

With an 8 speed auto transmission, BMW xDrive, and an interior packed full of technology this is one extremely cool SUV crossover.

Be one of the first to see the premiere of the BMW X4 commercial. It shows a world that is constantly changing, shown as the city moves like waves, and invites exploration in the X4.

BMW blew their CGI budget on this commercial, creating some impressive scenesthat look straight out of Inception. Do you like the CGI and the custom soundtrack or does the commercial fall flat for you?

Initial impressions of the all new BMW X4

BMW officially debuted the newest X model to the world today at the New York Auto Show, the all new BMW X4. The X4 builds on the success of the BMW X family, is built on the X3 chassis, and generally resembles a baby X6.

The BMW X4 will be built in the United States at the Spartanburg factory with a starting price of $48,925 (including destination and handling).

The 2015 BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe is being built at the BMW factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina alongside the BMW X3, BMW X5 and BMW X6. The car will make it's world debut at the 2014 New York International Auto Show in April.

BMW has finally taken the concept out of the BMW X4 and it will make it's world debut at the New York International Auto Show next month.

The BMW X4 is available in both xDrive28i and xDrive35i configurations starting at $45,625 and $48,925 respectively. The BMW X4 is being produced in the United States at the BMW factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina alongside the BMW X3, BMW X5 and BMW X6.

New Photos of the BMW Concept X4 (F26) Just Released

AUTO SHANGHAI 2013 kicks off for the Press on April 20th and it will be the first chance to see the Concept BMW X4 in person for anyone outside of BMW.
