Bimmerfest had the incredible opportunity to spend close to a week with the all-new BMW 4 Series in the pacific northwest this past week and get a better feel for the latest series from BMW. The 4 Series, if you are not aware, is the rebranded 3 Series Coupe and has been the subject of long converstions between BMW enthusiasts.
The 428i that we drove was equipped with BMW's 2.0 Liter 4-Cylinder TwinPower turbo motor and mated up to their excellent 8-speed automatic transmission. We are ready to give our take after propelling the car over highways, up mountains and through some twisty roads. Find out what we learned.

Bimmerfest.com is live at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show bringing you coverage of BMW and other highlights from the show. The biggest BMW news so far is the 4 Series Coupe concept. Successor to the 3 series coupe the new BMW 4 series writes a bold new chapter in BMWs history. Wider, lower, longer and more aggressively styled then the outgoing E92 3 series coupe the 4 series has a love it or hate it styling.
In person the 4 series is the sexiest car out of Munich. The much discussed F30 3 Series front end looks right at home with the aggressive styling of the 4 series. The car is very handsome in person and the side vents are more interested and dynamic then they appear in person.

The spy photographers at MotorAuthority have caught the model year 2014 BMW 3 series Gran Trismo fully exposed. The hatch back F34 3 series variant retains the sedan headlight shape and front end, adds in the the F32 coupe side vents (see the F32 4 series coupe exposed) and grafts on the hatch back and rear end of a 5 series GT.
