Another M3 (E46) Driver Gets it VERY Wrongby Tim Jones on August 20, 2012 at 04:56:28 PM
The BMW M3 gives you a lot of confidence behind the wheel. In this case little Billy (or whatever his name is) had more confidence in his E46 M3 then the laws of physics allowed for. It looks like the front wheels got light going over the crest of the hill and he failed to increase steering angle or really do much to attempt to correct before slamming into the rocks. It is on my bucket list to own one, and I cannot wait. Built in the same era the Mercedes Benz 190E is equally special to MB enthusiasts and provided the motivation for BMW to build the original M3. On this episode of Head 2 Head, Automobile...
40 Years BMW M GmbH - The Story of BMW Mby Tim Jones on July 08, 2012 at 06:00:00 AM
"A company is like a human being. As long as it goes in for sports, it is fit, well-trained, full of enthusiasm and performance." These were the words of Robert A. Lutz, BMW AG Board Member Sales, back in 1972. They were the words christening the youngest subsidiary of BMW AG at the time, BMW Motorsport GmbH. Today the company is called BMW M GmbH. But it is just as fit, well-trained, full of enthusiasm and performance as it was 40 years ago.
