Four BMW DTM Drivers in the Points at Norisringby Mark Jurista on July 14, 2013 at 05:25:00 PM
The four BMW teams experienced an eventful fifth DTM race at the Norisring (DE) in temperatures soaring to over 30 degrees Celsius. Bruno Spengler (CA), who started the race from second on the grid in the BMW Bank M3 DTM, was the best-placed BMW driver, coming home in sixth.
Joey Hand (US, BMW M3 DTM), Andy Priaulx (GB, Crowne Plaza Hotels BMW M3 DTM) and Marco Wittmann (DE, Ice-Watch BMW M3 DTM) finished eighth, ninth and tenth.

The end of production has arrived for the current generation BMW M3 Coupe with more than 40,000 being produced throughout the production cycle. Now potential buyers are faced with used models or waiting until the new M4.
Total production numbers for M3s in the E9X series were more than 40,000 coupes, nearly 10,000 sedans and just under 16,000 convertibles.

We finally have some photos of the BMW M4 Coupe in a color other than black which typically indicates that the car has moved on to pre-production testing.
The F82 M4 Coupe is also showing off some gold brake calipers which have been reserved for the Carbon Ceramic brakes that are found on the current M5 and M6.

The BMW M3 gives you a lot of confidence behind the wheel. In this case little Billy (or whatever his name is) had more confidence in his E46 M3 then the laws of physics allowed for. It looks like the front wheels got light going over the crest of the hill and he failed to increase steering angle or really do much to attempt to correct before slamming into the rocks. Our spy network caught up with the next generation F80 M3 hitting the twisty roads and were able to notice a power dome pushing up through the hood. You still need some imagination but it is starting to get interesting.
