We recently saw some photos of some damaged cars from the track but now we have the first report of an accident with an all-new BMW M4 Coupe in Munich, Germany. It appears that this car is done for after only being on the road for a short period of time.

BMW has a long tradition of bringing some of their best BMW cars to the MotoGP world to serve as the Official Car of MotoGP. The tradition dates back to 1999 and this year the entrant is the all-new 2015 BMW M4 Coupe.
The 2014 MotoGP season kicks off on March 23rd in Qatar followed by a trip to the Circuit of the Americas on April 13th. Tune in to watch the races and to check out the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe Safety car.

Featuring a return to the inline-6 engine format made famous by BMW M, the all-new, 3.0-liter BMW M3 and M4 engine is approximately 10 kilograms lighter than its V-8 predecessor and packs an even stronger punch. With 425 horsepower from 5,500 – 7,300 rpm, 406 lb-ft of torque from 1,850 – 5,500 rpm, and capable of 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds.

BMW announces the all-new BMW F80 M3 Sedan and BMW F82 M4 Coupe. Based off the latest 3 Series Sedan and fresh 4 Series Coupe BMW returns to its roots with an inline 6 cylinder engine but adds twin turbos for 425 hp and 406 ft-lbs of torque. On the chassis side everything is lighter then the outgoing M3 making this one mean machine.

BMW is not all that shy with testing their M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe as it keeps showing up for photographers at the Nürburgring.
These new spy photos are accompanied by a new report confirming an emphasis on lightweight materials and a timeline for when we might see a production version.
