BMW M is caught working on the next gen M5 version. This prototype is sporting fake lights, but reveals more of the front bumper then we have seen before.

Power will come from a modified version of the current M5īs engine and for the first time the M5 will get xDrive as well. Power will be managed by a dual clutch transmission, manually will not be offered.

Car and Driver pits the 2013 F10 M5 against the 2013 F13 M6 in a battle of the big M cars. Both S63tu powered with BMWs M DTC the power and potential of both cars should be evenly matched. The question is, which chassis and overall package would you rather have?
