Euro Delivery Navigation Disk Loaner

From BimmerWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

[edit] How it works

For those who would like to use your new car's navigation system while driving in Europe, Beewang, the Euro Delivery forum's moderator, will provide a European DVD disk to the renter with a complete return envelope. The renter must return the disk back to Beewang by dropping the package off at the nearest USPS mail box and include a check for the loaner shipping and packaging fee.

All DVD disks are original OEM Navteq BMW disks. To cover the cost evenly to everyone, the cost will be $50 to cover the shipping and handling. The shipping and handling fee includes roundtrip US Priority Mail shipping.

[edit] How to request a disk

Email Beewang at yokobee2@yahoo.com with the following information:

  • Your Name
  • Phone number where he can reach you (to know who he's lending the disks out to, as he WOULD like to get them back. Preferably a cell phone or a number where he can actually get a hold of you.)
  • The type of BMW vehicle you are getting, so he can send you the right disks as there are many different disks for different BMW systems.
  • Your exact ED traveling dates, departing and returning to U.S. We can always adjust and fine tune the dates as long as he has the disk blocked off for you.
  • Your address. He would prefer to send to a residence so there is no possibility of the work/mailroom guy misroute your mail and a $200 disk getting lost.
