Help, f32 headlight differences Euro vs USA specs

Hi, i need help with the purchase of my left headlight

Im from Uruguay and my 428i is euro model, headlight part number 63117377843 , im traveling to United States and want to buy my replacement light.
Us part number for the Hid non AFS headlight is 63117377851

Somebody know if i can replace my euro light with us spec light?
Or what differences they have?

Import the correct one from Europe cost me a lot of money, duty taxes on my country 60% FOB

thanks

I don't know the answer but 20 years ago, I was able to order a Saab headlight in the US that was a European part.

Any differences are some slight changes to the optics (EU more restrictive of uplight/glare).
They should drop right in.

It is my understanding that the euro versions have extra shutters that allow for non-glare high beam operations that the US headlights do not. It could be that if you install these headlights and use auto high beams then you'll be blinding oncoming traffic. This is why all US cars have the non-glare highbeam functionality disabled by default.

hi, i installed the new headlight, i purchase one on ebay that supposed be not adaptative like the ones that my car have.
Ok, lot of differences on them, USA headlight have a lot of cables, have other board.
I have my broken headlight, so put my board and re-pin some cables on the USA headlight, all working but need to have some knowledge on electric systems to make it work
