Cooling for B58

I currently drive a 2016 340 xdrive, equipped with Dinan; intake, exhaust, mid-pipe, tune, and springs.

I am looking to have the car run cooler.

After doing some research I have found mixed solutions to this question, and do not fully understand which would be the right choice.

Should I be upgrading the radiator, or intercooler? And if so, would this make much difference?

The car runs and drives phenomenally better when it is colder.

My thoughts are;

or

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You need an upgraded intercooler.

*edit* apparently for the 340 the IC is built into the heat exchanger or some ****? I'm bowing out of this conversation.

Yeah thats why I was confused.

It looks like this is the way to go.

How easy is swapping a radiator on a 340?

Also, would this void any warranties with BMW?

I am not sure in three year of existence, someone swapped radiator.
But, yes, it will void warranty.

What makes you think the car is not running cool enough?

Off course it runs better when its colder, every car does ...

Because then there is more oxygen in the same amount of air.

When it rains, or rained there is also more oxygen in the air.
Which results in a bigger bang inside the cylinders.

I think if you change the cooling system to run cooler the car will change the fuel/air mixture etc to make it run hotter again, expecially in eco and comfort mode, because the hotter it runs the more fuel economical it get, to a certain point that is off course.

you can see that when you turn it to sport mode, the oil, get slightly cooler. because then they are aiming to get the most perf. out of the engine, not fuel economy
