n54/m50 Engine to bellhousing dimensions

Hello I was wondering if anyone could do me a solid and measure the Bellhousing pattern dimensions for the m50 style bellhousing? I currently have the n54 GS6-53BZ pattern and was looking to make an adapter plate for two projects. One is to a Maserati v8, I already have my e90 plate made for that but would like to use the e36 6 cylinder gearbox too. And I was going to make a cad file for adapting the n54 to the m50 series. Both directions n54 to e36 gearbox and visa versa. I will post or email the n54 cad file to anyone who wants it. So if anyone could do me a solid and measure the patterns dimensions it would be appreciated.

Welcome to Bimmerfest!

If I had a transmission loose I'd be glad to measure it, but all of them I have are in vehicles and connected to the engines. There are several guys on the E36 forum that have parts collections that will probably help you out.

Where the heck did you come up with a Maserati V8, and why do you want to put that unreliable boat anchor in your E36? I know, because you want to. It should sound awesome (when it runs).

Well people swap in LS series engines and this Maserati engine weights about 40lbs less than the LS with more HP stock for around the same price (ok maybe a lil more lol) and I wasnt specifically planning on putting it in a BMW chassis. I've designed three CAD files for the use of either a T56, GS6-53BZ, or 01E transmission. All three have held their own in their class. I'm interested in the e36 gearbox because it is another that's strong
