Upgraded Speakers???

So I regret not getting the Harmon Kardon speakers. And was curious if any of you guys that have the regular speakers did any of you upgrade them? I don't wanna do anything crazy to the car, I just want to see if there's any simple plug and play speakers out there. I don't wanna do any drilling or modifications so I was thinking of looking on Crutchfield to see if anything would fit.

thanks for posting that quack. i was just thinking the same thing as the op. i listen mostly to podcasts so it's not a huge deal. but when i do listen to music i am definitely struck by the aggressive mediocrity of the sound.
any idea who makes the speakers for bavsound?
the fact that an entire website is dedicated to bmw replacement speakers speaks volumes

LOL. Easy money. A fool and his money are soon parted.

There are also speakers offered by Bimmer-Tech: https://www.bimmer-tech.net/shop/bmw...udio-retrofits

Before changing speakers, adjust the Equalizers properly - makes a huge difference. I was also disappointed before adjusting the settings and after using the forums to make the adjustments, I am very happy.

Here is what I have based on advise from a sound engineer:
Bass 0
100hz +5
200hz -5
500hz +2
1khz +1
2khz 0
5 khz +1
10khz 0
Treble 0

Logic 7 is ON

You can adjust for your liking but this gives you very balanced sound. Adjusting the 100hz and 200hz makes the biggest difference.

Since he doesn't have the HK option don't think he has an Equalizer.
