2013 X1 airbag light
Mi 2013 X1 M packet has the airbag and seat belt lights steady on from the passenger side and the active code is 93C3 passenger occupancy sensor (mat).
I have not taken to the dealer yet, the warranty is expired.
I read that BMW N.A. states that the issue is covered by extended warranty provisions for passenger occupancy sensor and this warranty last 15 years.
Does anyone knows if it is true or have some information about this ?
I'd appreciate your help.
Did you get your airbag recall done?
Maybe that process will fix it, or reveal why the lights are staying on?
Thanks for the response
The airbag recall was done in June 2016 and I bought the car 6 months ago. The X1 runs great but the lights and chime won't go away
This was true for my 2004 BMW X.3 I received a letter from BMW confirming the extended warranty on the passenger side airbag Matt
