Bl/Bl 5 speed. 188000 miles in excellent condition. Many new parts- all stock. Car has always been garaged and all maintance records (from dealer) saved. New car has just arrived at dealer and will be sad to sell. Car has fairly new snows with extra set of eom rims. Not sure of price yet but thinking $5500. Will try to post pics soon if ever stops raining here. Will also get together list of most recent new parts.
Any questions let me know.

Some nice '95s are around $6-7k, so even at $5k you won't get many bites, sorry.

Not nice to piss in other peoples' classifieds. PM might be better....

I'm not so sure it's so wrong to point out an overpriced item. (I'm not saying this car is overpriced. I have no idea). But message boards are for sharing information, which makes more informed buyers and sellers. We're here to help sellers, but also buyers as well. There are other types of classified ads where it's not possible to comment on the ad (newspapers, autotrader, etc) if that's what a seller prefers.

I hear you, but I don't know if I agree with you. I don't know if the car is overpriced or not, but when others chime in with what may be uniformed opinions stated as fact, potential buyers may not be getting good information. I just think classifieds should be for sellers and potential buyers. Not for pissing in, or carrying on other, ancillary discussions. Oooops.

Seeing as my car is almost identical to his, just a little newer, I think my opinion is informed. It's certainly not in my interest to devalue my own car.

Txs for the bump.

I have a better question? Which is better a 187,300 mile car with excellent maintance records, no wrecks, garaged, and one mature driver or a 140,000 mile car with questionable maintance, history, and a few owners. Not sure of the answer but I know which I would choose especially in a BMW.

SOLD!! Glad I did not listen to your advise. First person to look and drive the car realized the exceptional condition. Paid full price of $5000 cash. I disagree with anyone "pissing" on someones add when they have not seen the goods. Another bmw forum actually states that no price criticism should be given and I noticed that there were only positive remarks listed about the car. That might be a good suggestion here.

I agree Cpat and congrats on your sale

I used to come to this site alot because most users are very mature in the postings and didn't waste all of our time with negative comments. We all want to get the best price we can. We all take pride in our Bimmers. I'm sure we all have something negative to think or say about someone else's car...but why?
There are plenty of places for those in need of anger and loathing to surf...just do a search. When you find one that you can post to your hearts content all the negativity you can muster..stay there...and allow this site to get down to what it was intended for...enjoying our BMW's!

Or...I could express every negative comment that comes to mind when my opinion isn't the same as "the other guys" and really reak havoc on other people's emotions...I choose not to.
