Remote 3D View
 
Have owned the 2019 330i xdrive for a couple of months. Not once has the Remote 3D View worked from the app on my phone. Everything is checked off that is supposed to be in the car but on my phone I am still getting the message "Remote 3D View is disabled. Please enable this functionality in the vehicle." I did enable it in the car, multiple times now off and on. And I did delete the app and redownload it several times. Always the same messages. Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes I can do? I have tried most of the things I found online by general searching for this issue.

Your post does not mention you have been to the dealer to see what the problem is, have you been to the dealer?

I would say he is trying to see if someone here can help him before he travels to the dealer.

Correct, I have not been to the dealer. Called the dealer and also called the Genius line. The Genius person told me the global server had been down and was now up but I don't really buy that answer. Wanted to post here and see if this is a known problem that someone else had and possible fixes before going to the dealer.

I had the same problem. Then realized I wasn’t logged in to Connected Drive on my profile in the car. Logged in and that fixed it.

i figured out how to fix this. go to idrive, go to apps, push options button, update the services, uninstall/reinstall the connecteddrive app. it should work. im canceling my service appointment. it fixed every connecteddrive issue i had.
