And as the 4th I will clarify that CPS is your Crankshaft position sensor; as opposed to your Camshaft position sensor.

My ex-gf gave 4 shots (all stalls) on my E90. Only 4, and it never really felt the same after that.

if its a wheel bearing, just suck it up, drop it...

if its a wheel bearing, just suck it up, drop it at a mechanic, and have him press a couple new ones in. It's not a quick or cheap repair but its crucial.

Hey brother. Crank position sensor is a good place to start. There usually aren't symptoms of a failing one, they just sort of die in one fell swoop.

Also, You're in the E34 forum. Maybe the E39...

does it have to be a dual mass? can you "retrofit" a standard flywheel? that way you'll have more options if it ever needs to be replaced, or will be able to be resurfaced.
