I changed the differential oil at approx 5k miles to Mobil 1 75w90, and mostly wanted to see the BMW fluid.

Wheels are very hard to get on straight without center rings.

Another way to get centering ring is to put 12mm spacers on fronts.

The x drive models have steel plug. The s28i models like mine have plastic plug. It seems stout enough. I bought a 10mm hex socket for perfect fit. It was tricky using a hex key.
