I prefer the Gen 1 35i variant. Awesome power, good fuel economy (IMO). Price does seem high for a 28i... even though I still owe 19k on my 14 35i (bought CPO low mileage in 2017, 2.5 more years on...

I agree with Yukoner, it's nice to have even at $60 a year. I don't have time to deal with the software to manually code things, so it's nice to have the constant tool to reset service, code, and...

You got the N54, my 09 328 has the N52. It's such a strong engine, even comparing it to an AWD 35i with tune and downpipe (it just isn't a rocket).

I might not mind a manual 28i, outside of MPG vs...

Is the 25k including labor, or is that just for the engine? That blows my mind for anything but a BNIB (in retail speak brand new in box) engine and even then... ITS AN ENGINE.

I reset mine so it stores the data on the key(s). If you reset the intervals every time, it is "proof" you did the service. I happen to do my service so that becomes proof sans "".

Maintenance of any car past 50k miles adds up. I still need to do my diff and trans on my 35i X1. I have my 09 328i caught up. 328 was about $8k, maintenance had been less than 1k over the last 8...

Windshield Washer pumps

I changed out my windshield washer pumps today because the front windshield stopped working (of the 3 total). It probably wasn't actually bad, because I took out the rubber gromet/screen on all 3 of...

Agreed on all accounts. It's up to her as it is her car and not her fault, the bumpers are typically replace not repair, and that's not outrageous for the work to be with OEM parts... The only reason...

I do it precisely so I can feel the road. I've always slightly over inflated, so maybe that's why runflats never bothered me. I'd rather have that than feel like I'm driving a boat on the ocean and...
