It sounds like a torsen differential which is a type of LSD. It will deliver 75% to one wheel and 25% to the other. It doesn't have clutch plates and will not lock up.

When you lower the rear you increase the toe and camber. There is no adjustment on the rear control arms. You need to install adjusters to be able to align the rear, otherwise you will chew up tires....
