Do you mean engine and trans MOUNTS? If so, I doubt those need replacing unless you have 200K + miles on the car and if so those things would be the least of your worries.

How long do you plan to keep your x5? 70k miles? Don't bother replacing and take your chances. 150k? Replace soon and relax. I keep my cars a long time so proactively replaced mine at 75k miles....

Change back to comfort mode when you reach 100 and are going to cruise there for a while - problem solved. You will have lower RPM and better milage when being in a lower gear provides no benefit
