Lightbulb Price reduction bump

I'm seeing a few other 3.0's priced in the $29K to $29.5K range, so I'll drop mine down to $29,000.

Anyone think I'm overpriced, or is this the right price for this car, or am I just in a tough...

Re: Stron Strut answers (Ancient History)

Very interesting. I'm not so certain that I was looking for an improvement in handling as I already though the car handled pretty well. I was looking for a reduction in cowl shake, steering wheel...

Re: Tallest member with a Z/M coupe?

6'3" with a 36" inseam, and although I drive a Roadster, when the top is up, I've got plenty of room. Legroom is at a premium, but as long as I'm not wearing chunky sneakers or boots, it works out...

Question Strong Strut impressions (3 questions)

1) Do you notice a difference after install?
2) What sort of difference do you notice?
3) How difficult of an install was it?

Interesting...in addition to mothballs, I've also heard fresh mint leaves. I may also talk to an exterminator and see what they say since this is their business and hopefully they'd know for sure.

D'oh! Yer right Jon, sorry. Bought mine over 2 years ago and I can't remember what was available back then and what wasn't. I do remember liking the Walnut interior though.

D'oh! You are correct sir.

Missed the "nutter" in your subject. I teest drove a 3.0 coupe back in 2001 before I ordered my roadster. I do love the color, but decided on Impala Brown for the...

They're claiming it's a beige interior, but it looks more like that Walnut color I think?

Question How to prevent rodent damage?

As my Z3 was stored over the winter, including some time outside under cover, what appear to have been a family of chipmunks made themselves nice and comfy. They've done some damage which is...

Yep, will be doing that. Got an appointment for 3 weeks from today, which is the earliest my dealer can see me. Next year, I get moth balls!

Re: How can I remove this...whatever it's called....

Was able to pop them off and take the cover off. Managed to snake the vacuum cleaner tube down in there and get out all of the chewed up acorns and stuff. Also, on another person recommendation, I...

Question How can I remove this...whatever it's called....

It's the plastic piece that sits right on top of the engine. Mines the 3.0. While storing the car during the winter, a few chipmunks or mice made a nice home for themselves inside the engine...

Question Z3 with Xenon's

Anyone know if it is possible to install Xenon's on our Z3's? Does a "kit" exist for this, possibly replacing the existing headlight structure? I've been driving a 330i loaner for about a week now,...

Re: Re: Re: Re: I've got a 525iT loaner

Oh, I know. I wouldn't be interested in the "T" version as my wife already has a Volvo V70/AWD. If I were to get the 530i, it'd be the sedan with the 5-speed and sports package. Wonder if the ride...

Don't know yet. I've been at work all day, and it's been pouring out here in Massachusetts. Haven't had a chance to go outside and check. Will do so later.

Re: Re: I've got a 525iT loaner

The 540i would be amazing to say the least, albeit quite a bit out of my price range. I can't even imagine. I was thinking about a 530i 5-speed with the sports package, and a few other goodies as...

Question I've got a 525iT loaner

What a great ride in this car. Your 5-series(I own a Z3) are solid as a rock. Feels like they are made out of solid granite. Anyway, I do have a question or two here.

Although I know cupholders...

Question Brake Dust solution?

I've heard that your 5-series create a lot of brake dust. I was wondering if there are any aftermarket low(or no) brake dust pads available?
