From what I understand you will need the M54 cam trays, caps and lifters for the intake cam to work. They are different between the M50 and M52/M54. You are also probably going to need to remove the...

Oh, right sedan. I forgot they don't have key holes for the rear doors. It that case the decoder might be better because after you decode the key you can play around with hooking up power and seeing...

I think the easiest thing to do would be to pick up and set of lock pick with wafer tools and pick the doors open. You could also pick up a key decoder/pick for the e36 and use that instead of more...

I think the the missing windows and non-rolling state of the car are what are giving you issues selling it whole. It is more of a pain to part out than other cars like that. The fact that it is a...

Yes. It will make it better at handling normal road snow than 90% of the car people say they bought for the snow. I run snow tires on both my e36 and Miata and they work so much better than all...

I don't know off the top of my head if the rods are different, but the S52 crank has a longer stroke. The longer stroke and bigger bore/pistons take the S52 to 3.2L over the M52b28's 2.8L.

You would need the S52 rotating assembly to go to 3.2L and you would not need any M54b30 parts. A 3.2L M52 would be the same as a S52 with worse cams, so under 240 HP.

Your M52 block. A M54 block would turn it into a M54 swap.

It is possible but you would need a S52 rotating assembly. You would basically just be replacing the block of a S52. To make the S52 in...

It will but it is not a straight swap. Look into a S54 swap if you want to know how to do it. That is the popular version of the swap and swapping a M54 would be almost exactly the same. BMW actually...

You can not swap heads between a M52 and a M54 block. People have looked in to putting a M54 head on their M52/M50 block while doing the M54b30 stroker and if I remember right the coolant passages do...

The M52b28 pistons are too tall so you need to run M54b30 pistons with a M54b30 crank. Honestly a m54 stroked m52 is not the best thing for boost. The extra 0.2L will not get you much more power with...

Jesus dude. I am glad you made it out of there in one piece. Older cars are fun, but they are not know for their crash safety. I am surprised the airbags did not go off. Any idea why that happened?...
