Without codes we can only guess. Mine would be a misfires caused by vacuum leak, only because those seem to happen pretty often due to the amount of brittle plastic in these babies.

I would run a smoke test if you haven't done so already. While it could be other things, you'll want to rule out vacuum leaks before getting a bunch of parts :) (talking from experience...)

The charger I got was a 2A, more of a maintainer than charger. But it showed the battery as fully charged in the morning, so perhaps I got a bad apple (just over a year old).

Installed a DISA repair kit to take care of rough idling, misfires and lack of power, my unit had a broken shaft to the flap and a substantial vacuum leak from the original O-ring.
