2006 530xi AC clutch-pulley removal help, please.

In my case nothing was holding the shaft. It was free spinning. But thatís not a big problem when you use an impact gun. It unscrew the front even without holding the shaft.
That tool came along...

Yes, it is definitely broken. But the reason it is broken is that the vacuum tube that goes to the brake booster (or at least in that area) for some reason dragging the coupling out of that cable...

Itís pretty quiet when the engine is cold (after the cold start) and getting louder when the engine getting warmer. But I can definitely check the filter holder.

I have it (itís partially visible in the video :) ). And it helped to find out noise is most loud when I poke the stethoscope to the filter housing. Which doesnít make much sense :)

Idler just replaced a week ago. Tensioner was dead silent. But again- sound from the oil filter housing roundabouts..
Can check for the vacuum leak tomorrow, but doesnít sound like it..

I replaced an AC pulley few days ago. The shaft was rounded so I couldnít use 7mm socket.
Mine is 528xi N52, but I guess 530xi is pretty much the same thing.

It's pretty simple procedure, as far as I remember. Don't recall the details, but really - few prompts, ignition on/off, steering wheel in 0 position, and something else. It's been quite a long time...

I donít know, but 5k interval is a little to little in todayís standards unless you use mineral. 6-7k miles (or 10k kilometers) looks adequate to me. 15k miles is out of this world, I guess.
