I agree with HerbP. Old fluid and old seals canít hold the pressures to allow the transmission to function correctly. Causes that lurch when stopping at a red light. Like someone rear ended you.

Sounds a bit like your remaining issue may be vacuum leaks. Maybe just small. Your are running on an closed loop at startup and then you switch over to the open loop to adjust to the vacuum leaks.

FCPEuro is great when you intend to keep your BMW for many years. If you can start buying from them as soon as you are out of warranty and keep your BMW for those long years it is a great investment....

I think your manual will state a specific minimum octane and not a maximum. Keep it at or above the minimum. It can adjust to lower but that would not be how the engine was designed. MO.
