It's not about engine temp, it's the critcal...

It's not about engine temp, it's the critcal trans temp within the small 10c window. I used nearly 5.5l when I refilled mine.

So you physically saw both the fill and drain plugs on your rear diff?

I'd not recommend using the same fluid in the diffs and transfer case, the diffs and transfer case use different fluid types.

Agreed, I just did F&R diffs, transfer case and trans. at 66k miles.
The dirtiest fluid was from the transfer case, it was black. It only holds like ~.6 ltr so not very much. I'll be changing it...

I'm not sure what data the charging algorithm uses once the battery is registered, but I assume it's time, mileage and driving habits. Without registering the the new battery, I would be concerned...

Maybe you already know this, but you should code the vehicle with the new smaller Ah rating and register the battery so the vehicle charging system knows it has a smaller capacity and it's new.

That explains a lot. I was using a dcan cable with my E39 and could only read/clear ecu errors, no service functions were available. On my F25 with ENET cable I could use the service functions....

I'm just guessing here. Brake and turn signal lights for the trailer as well as top view zoom for backing up to trailer. Even though I don't have a hatch, I coded the zoom for another viewing option...
