Anyway, it will have to be a BMW next time. I agree, the Forester does pack and powerful punch, but it totally lacks the refinement of the BMW.

Hi, I have been the happy owner of a E46 320Ci Coupé for about 4 years (since 2001).

The E46 was a company car on which I had to pay tax. Because of heavy taxes cars are expensive here in Denmark...

What is really bad in combination with bird droppings is heat (sunlight). Heat really accelerates the cheminal (etching) proces.

As somebody else wrote, it is really important not to rub the spot...

By the way... is the window trim aluminium or plastic (coated with aluminum like paint).

Unfortunatly, I did not realise the cause of the problem until after I slammed the door shut. :eek:

I feel with you...

Did the same to my car by driving it up on ramps. The ramps slipped when I drove off and I scraped the underside of my front fender.

One reason to change for the M-kit :-)

I did the upgrade myself. The LEDs are *very* bright indeed. Looks good and give the care a distintive appearance.

Tends to be most noticable in cold weather. Talked to the dealer - they knew nothing about it.
