I am confused.
Should I replace my water pump with a BMW original or with an aftermarket metal impeller one? Too much conflicting info out there. Im sure (hope) BMW must know what they are doing. ...

I just replaced the rubber grommet on mine 2...

I just replaced the rubber grommet on mine 2 weekends ago.
The washer on wire attaches to the mounting bolt.
I think it is a ground for the antenna.
I honestly don't remember if there was a hex...
