Thanks Herb, decided to also order the URO boot kit to get the rings. I want them on hand to reduce downtime. $12 for 2 O-rings! Now I will have 2 sets of URO boots lying around.

Inner tie-rod boot/cover o-ring for steering rack - source?

I'm looking for the o-ring that goes on the end of the steering rack, where the tie-rod boot/gaiter is positioned over. Anyone have a source for these o-rings? The o-ring does not come with Lemforder...

Thanks guys. It was brought to my attention the original factory TRW parts were "pre-merger" with ZF. Wondering if that somehow caused a shift in manufacturing location/materials/quality/purity etc

I'm seeing price differences between these 2 brands. Usually TRW less expensive, and said to be the part the factory used (M6). I've had good experience with Lemforder, never tried a TRW part.
