Transmission switch fault

The neighbor's car has only D showing in the display on the dash. Scanned it and got the transmission switch fault. 3C EWG code. This has the GM transmission. Are these pretty easy to changed?

Yeah, I'm wondering if their "fix" is actually lasting. I think they redesigned the timing chains and guides. No one on here can really say what they did to improve it.

What's the reliability on the the engines made in this time frame? Has there been any know failures of the timing chains after they were changed in late 2014 early 2015?

Im thinking the same now. Even if all the problem areas have been fixed before, the replacement parts have to be getting close to going out again. It's not like on an E46 where you have a lot cheaper...

If its the evaporator leaking thats a huge job. The dealer I found it at are pretty much only bmw and mercedes. They said they would take care of it, but that might be just add freon and send it out....

I've found a 2010 335i with 70K miles. Took it out for a test drive and it ran great, but the engine had a cylinder 1 misfire when we got back
after it was warmed up. Also the a/c was blowing hot...

Xenon adjuster

The vertical adjustment is working, but people are flashing their brights at me even though I have them dimmed. I just had body work done on the front and had to get a whole new left xenon headlight...

A buddy has a 00' 528i that has the brake light trifecta. Although if he takes it through a car wash the lights will go out and everything works fine. Then if everything dries out they start coming...

That fuse should be good if the tach is jumping. You should get fuel out the schrader valve under pressure.

See if your getting fuel pressure at the fuel rail. There is also a fuse under the hood that could be blown. Does your tach jump when your cranking it?

I would listen to see if the fuel pump is priming when you first turn the key on. The oil leaks could be from the valve cover, oil filter housing or the oil pan.
