Yep. Ambient was about 78, and IAT started in the 80s and crept up into the 110s as I drove, which is plausible given the temp outside.

My vote is battery....but honestly, 3-5s isn't that long. Regardless, I would replace the battery prophylacticly at this...

I know this is a bit old, but did you ever solve it? I've been researching this, and it seems like the sleeve / electrical connector can cause this type of issue if properly seated.

117c is where the damping on the gauge ends, IIRC. I was towing a trailer out of PHX last summer with the ambient temps in the 110s, AC on, up a big hill, monitoring it through the OBC.

I do not disagree...I just spent $12 on a plastic clip to hold a coolant line to my fan shroud. Seemed like a bad place for a zip tie. lol. :thumbdwn:
