if you are getting an ebox fan code, replace the ebox fan. It cools the DME (aka engine computer). It may or may not be your problem, but overheated electronics can do all sorts of funny things.

Look on YouTube for a video of someone removing the CCC. You should be to have the CCC plugged in and see of the fan is running. If it isn't running, I'd say you have an issue with the fan.
