In the NE all you can find are rust buckets of e28 and e34 vintage so you need to look either west or south for rust free...

I've done around 6 remote start systems in various BMWs and the wiring is pretty consistent. Hopefully the only wires that I will need to work out are the central locking wires.

And it doesn't see anything. It can't even read the VIN. :( This is for my 01 525it. My cheap ebay scanner works so I'll have to setup INPA to see where the issue lies.

Just wondering if it still has support for vintage bimmers like the e39 and e46. I guess I'll find out. :) Having a pocket sized scanner that I can carry in the glove box will be very useful.

Is there a DIY on this board for coding and flashing the MS43? I would love to attempt this also but for now I'm just going to have someone do the EWS and SAP delete for me.

You can also go the route of a reprogrammed ECU with EWS and SAP delete for less than the cost of one dealer made key. That's what I'm going to do on my 525it. After that cut keys are cheap.
